Here are some of the core exercise classes offered at Prairie Stone Sports & Wellness Center. These classes are all FREE to members.

AquaFit
A cardiovascular and muscle-conditioning program within a safe, low impact environment. Large range of motion is stressed to increase flexibility, and resistance exercises tone specific muscle groups. Non-swimmers welcome.

Boot Camp
High energy, calorie blasting workout. Both a cardio and muscle sculpting class that will challenge your fitness limits.

BOSU and Beyond
Recharge your body with this new cardiovascular workout. BOSU's ever-changing surface challenges balance and coordination, while dynamically improving overall endurance.

BoxFit
Come train like a boxer at this cardio class that keeps you moving with "shadowboxing" combinations, jump rope intervals, punching bag work, and kicking drills.

Cardio Kickboxing
High-energy and cardio workout emphasizing punches, kicks and martial arts techniques. Targets large muscle groups. Great fat burning class.

Forever Fit

This safe and effective fitness class will help build bone density while improving endurance, strength, flexibility, and balance. Great class to kick-start your new or improved fitness lifestyle.

Get on the Ball
Overall body toning class using the Resist-A-Ball, weights and tubing. Easy-to-follow workout that leaves you feeling strong and balanced.

Gentle Yoga
Focus on breath and body awareness to improve health, emotional balance, and metal clarity. All levels welcome.

Hatha Yoga
A gentle yoga practice with careful attention to mind/body balance. Students of all levels can benefit from this traditional approach.

Hard Core
Find your inner strength through this total body workout. Integrate flexibility, balance, strength and power to achieve maximum results.

Multi-Board Step
High-energy and diverse choreography will guarantee a fun, motivated workout. This unique format uses 2 to 4 step boards to increase your cardio endurance.

Muscle Pump
This strength-training class uses plate-loaded barbells and various other equipment to give you the muscular endurance and cuts you want. A consistent format is followed for 6 weeks to gauge strength gains.

Pilates
Link the mind and body through this core strengthening mat class. Techniques improve posture and alignment while increasing flexibility and range of motion.

Pilates II
Intermediate/Advanced level mat class. 6 months prior Pilates training is recommended.

Power Step
Intermediate/Advanced continuous step class. Dynamic cardiovascular workout that can be modified to various intensities.

Power Yoga
Unique combination of dynamic breathing and strong flowing movement that creates a high-heat, high-energy workout. Unleash your inner power and improve your total body awareness.

Spinning
Intense group cycling class working both aerobically and anaerobically. An action packed ride that simulates real road conditions and is the ultimate calorie burner. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class.

Sport Circuit
Improve your fitness level and athletic performance in this cardio class featuring sports-related drills that address endurance, speed, agility and power. Great for all fitness levels.

Step 'N' Kick

Step aerobic class combined with kickbox training drills for a cross training cardiovascular workout.

Step 'N' Pump
Interval style cardiovascular class combining step aerobics and strength training. Challenge your endurance and improve your muscular strength while training your heart rate.

TaiChi/QiGong
Known for its slow, flowing movements and emphasis on inner strength, this martial arts-based class is designed to achieve a balance between mental, physical and emotional well-being.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Strengthen your mind, body and spirit through breath, movement and asana. Explore purpose and intent during your practice. All levels are welcome.

Yoga Journey
Strengthen the connection between the body and mind using this energetic flow class. Improve inner strength and flexibility through asana and movement practice.

Yogilates
Integrate the techniques of Pilates and Hatha yoga for a complete and enjoyable mind-body workout. Develop long, lean muscles while connecting the body with the breath through slow, flowing movements. Learn to improve your focus, balance, strength and flexibility.

Zumba
Get ready to sweat in this Latin flavor "fitness party" class. Easy to follow, body energizing moves keep you motivated and inspired. A combination of fast and slow rhythms are used to sculpt and tone your body.
